Colures Corporation is a privately-held California corporation, and is the parent company of Smith Fidler. The company began as a strategic marketing and communications consultancy in 1998 in San Francisco and Sydney, and is now headquartered in Huntington Beach, California.

Colures is named after the two imaginary rings around the Earth that intersect at the poles and mark the solstices and equinoxes. When the sun passes through a colure, there is a change in the season. Prior to any written calendars, civilizations relied upon the suns' position in the sky to know when to plant, harvest, prepare for winter, and celebrate.

Just as the colures helped ancient civilizations prepare and plan, Colures and Smith Fidler help clients navigate and integrate their business, marketing and communications objectives.
